New research has established a link between the use of a commonly prescribed class of antibiotics and the risk of two adverse cardiac events.

The authors of a new study aimed to investigate whether antibiotic use could contribute to the risk for nephrolithiasis, and if so, what classes of antibiotics had the greatest effect.
